Hi friends and parents!  I want to let you know a little about myself.  I have been teaching for seventeen years.  I taught third grade for the first 3 years of my teaching career in Greensboro, NC.  My husband, Edwin, and I moved back to Old Fort where I began teaching second grade.  Last year I moved to third grade and truly enjoy teaching your children!  I grew up here in Old Fort and attended school at Old Fort Elementary.  I am a Nationally Certified Teacher.  I received this certification in Early Childhood in 2000.  I have a love for children, and my goal is that each one of my students will have a safe, loving environment for which to grow both socially and academically.
